Podium Finish in Le Mans Iame World Chamionship

***On The Podium In Le Mans***

After 10 long days and constant changeable weather conditions the team was rewarded with a P3 Finish.

8 drivers from 7 diffrent countries within the MLC Team, all showing good speed during the biggest kart race in the world.

Masters:
Nakamori 🇯🇵 would start 4th for the final dropping a couple of places early on. To make his way back to 3rd and take his place on the podium.
Cao 🇨🇳 had some mixed heats with front running pace and lined up 17th for the Main final but become involved in crashes ending any Hope’s.
Umid Alli Hussian 🇦🇪 had pretty good speed in the dry but coming from Dubai his experience in the wet was little and made the heat races a challenge.

Senior:
Amer Harris 🇲🇾 showed great speed in the dry testing looking to run at the front unfortunately the Malaysian stars lack of wet driving left him on a learning curve in the wet heats. Eventually in his fully dry final climbed from 33rd to finish 8th being fastest most of the race.
Liam Crystal 🇧🇷 had good speed in both wet and dry conditions, just got caught in incidents and crashes throughout the racing a case of wrong time and wrong place.

Junior:
MLC Team Driver Daryl Taylor 🇬🇧 🇵🇭 showed good speed wet and dry which improved throughout the week. Posting race winning speed in the later heats. He would eventually just miss the main final 42nd from the 112 kart field
Anshul Ghandi 🇮🇳 again lacked some experience in the slippery cold conditions but in full wet or full dry showed some good speed, considering only starting testing 3 days after everyone else due to a race in Dubai.

Mini:
Travis Teo 🇲🇾 the Malaysian driver only 8 years old one of the youngest in the field showed his speed in Qualifying 8th in the dry, a great effort at this level. Unfortunately the heats would be wet and with no real wet experience was a steep learning curve.

A huge effort from everyone involved both before the event and during the racing paid off with a podium at the biggest and toughest kart race in the world. Our thanks go out to everyone involved.
